If the value of the
release_date
metdata field is

generate the following tag when the asset is deployed:

Navigation Bar
The Navigation Bar, or Navbar, component generates buttons that link to other pages in
the site, making it easy to navigate around in the site. A button can be an image which
includes the name of the linked page, or it can be plain text naming the linked page.
The Navigation Bar generates a different set of buttons on each page it is used on, based
on the options specified for the Navbar and the site structure.
The Navigation Bar component stores information about how active and inactive buttons
will look and where the buttons should link to. When you deploy a page containing a
Navbar component, Collage generates the links based on:
The location of pages in a site structure definition, or
The location of pages in the project's deploy folder structure.
The Navbar component may be particularly useful when it appears in a master page that
is applied to all pages in the site.
About the Navigation Link Options
The Navigation Bar component dynamically generates links at deploy time based on an
asset's position in a site structure, or in a project's deploy folder structure. All links are
defined as relative to the asset that contains the component, or to the root node in the
site structure, or to a specific deploy folder.
For example, you can define a link to a Parent Node, which will automatically link to the
node or page immediately above the asset in a site structure:
For detailed information on all of the types of link you can define, see "Node Options for
Links" on page 89.
