into the WAR file. If you want to deploy any additional files, such as a script or batch

file that the Deploy Agent will run on the destination server, you must put the files in

this folder. For example, you might want to deploy a script or batch file to restart the

destination server.

2: Assign the Precompile Metadata Field to JSPs

You must create a metadata field called Precompile, and associate it with any JSP files

that will be precompiled into classes (and optionally into a JAR file) as part of the

deployment process.

To assign the Precompile metadata field:

In Collage, go to the Project | Asset Type Setup view, and select the

Metadata

subview.

Click the

New

button. The New Project Metadata Field dialog box appears.

Enter

Precompile

in the

Metadata Name

field, and choose

Boolean

from the

Type

list.

Click

Select the

Assets Types

subview, and click the

Show System Asset Types

link to

display all asset types.

Select

JSP File

, and click the

Metadata

button. The Edit Metadata Definitions dialog

box appears.

Click

Add

. The New Metadata Definition dialog box appears.

Do the following and click



Select

Precompile

from the

Metadata name

list.



Select

Yes

from the

Edit by user

list.



Select

Yes

from the

Default value

list.
