Creating New Pages
With Contribute you can add pages to a web site. You can create a copy of an existing page, create a
blank page, or create a page based on a template.
Note: If you web site administrator has restricted the types of new pages you can create, you won’t
see all of these options when you create or copy a page.
Creating a Copy of an Existing Page
You can create a copy of the page you are currently viewing on your web site. You must be viewing
the page in the Contribute browser; you cannot create a copy of a page that is a draft in the
Contribute editor. Also, you cannot copy a page from one web site to another web site.
Notes:
You cannot create a copy of a page that contains frames.
You must create the new page first then link to it later. You cannot create the copy and add
a link to it at the same time.
To create a copy of an existing page:
1. Select File then New Page from the drop down menus. The New Page dialogue box appears:

2. Select Copy of Current Page in the panel on the left.
