Appendix D: Add-On Packager Command Line Interface

To use the command-line version of the Add-On Packager to generate an add-on (.xlx) file from a

packager (.xlp) file call:

Open the command prompt and go to the folder that contains the packager (.xlp).

Run the command line packager.

Note:

• The full path to the packager must be specified.

• The full path to the .xlp must be specified.

"dashboards-sdk-home\Packager.exe" "fullpathtoxlp.xlp" -generateXLX

The updated add-on (.xlx) is generated in the same folder as the .xlp.
